There is a circular ink stamp in the centre on the front, which has the Hungarian Coat of arms in the middle. Narrative: Birth certificate for Leopold Kohn, son of Sigmond Kohn and his wife née Blum.

- Round base with beveled ledges along the circumference. The column tapes out and then in, like 2 bells attached together. At the top of the column is another metal sphere, with a bird (sparrow ?) at the very top of the structure, which is offset to the right. At each side of the metal sphere (below the bird) are ornate arms: filigree shaped with openworked details and leaves coming out of the bottom centre. At the end of each arm is a tulip shaped candle holder, attached to a column and round base. The top of the candle holder has a raised rim in the center with high relief petal-like details around the circumference. The holders screw onto the arms.

- Charity box shaped like a mug with handle and attached lid. Lid has two openings, one circular and one rectangular cut into it to receive money donations. Hebrew etching around the lid and dots on certain letters indicates it was made in 5651 (1890-1891). Narrative: Made by Eliezer Hauer in the town of Onod, Hungaryfor the local synagogue. It belonged to the synagoge at Onod until its destruction in 1944. It was buried, uncovered and given to a local Lutheran Minister who kept it safe until circa 1990 when it was given to Mrs. Esther Prager.

- Inside front cover has decorative braid border, with spirals on each corner. Narrative: Donor was sent to forced labour in a brick factory in Budapest in November 1944. There she met another prisoner named Arthur Klein, who had brought this machzor with him. After Klein's death, donor kept his machzor. Donor was eventually released using a forged Schutzpass.

- A dome with holes perforated in what looks like a flower pattern. There is a wide, flat lip made from the same piece of metal as the dome. Coming out of the top of the lip, also made from the same piece of metal, is a handle. The handle is embossed at the bottom so that it raises slightly from the lip and dome; it is indented at the end, with a slight raised beveled edge for thumb support. Narrative: Used in home before the war and in the ghetto.

- Flying Officer Samuel Kwinter of Toronto, Ontario, was officially presumed to h ave died on August 22, 1944, following air operations overseas. He had completed 22 operational flights when the Halifax of which he was bombardier was shot down during a raid on Vezstrum, Hungary. Enlisting in the air force in July 1942, he trained at Toronto and Dauphin, Manitoba, and graduated as a sergeant pilot from the flying school at Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, in March 1943. He was commissioned immediately and was sent overseas in June 1943. His brother, Pilot Officer Sam Kwinter, also served with the R.C.A.F. overseas.
