- Sergeant Moses Charton of Verdun, Quebec, was killed while serving as an observer overseas on October 6, 1942, according to an official announcement. He enlisted in the RCAF in June 1941 and received his observer's wing at Jarvis, Ontario, in March 1942. He was born in Poland.
