Narrative: This postcard was written by Bernhard Kissman (Donor's father) to his fiancee Fritzi Winter (Donor's mother) who lived at that time with her parents in Tescheutz, Bukowina. They got married in July 1913. Bernhard Kissman worked at various places in forestry. Postcards between them were written daily, often a letter followed.

Issyu is wearing an army uniform with a sword in his left hand; he also has a mustache and is sitting to the right of his hat. Narrative: Issyu was a career officer in Autro-Hungarian army. All presumed to have perished in the Holocaust except Fritz who came to New York and became electrical engineer and changed his name to Fred Rosette.
