- Outdoors. Image of gallows used to hang people. Narrative: Donor is the wife of Viktor Matus (born Victor Neumann), who survived the war in hiding and came to Montreal in 1949. From Hlohovec, Czechoslovakia. Two older brothers André and Otto were killed in January 1945 uprising. Parents were deported and killed in Auschwitz. Brother Marcel Neumann survived.
