Leading Aircraftman Norman Kendall of Toronto, Ontario, was killed along with another student flyer when the Harvard training plane in which they were flying failed to come out of a nose dive. The plane crashed into a barn three miles southeast of Tillsonburg, Ontario. Leading Aircraftman Kendall enlisted in the air force in July 1941 and was stationed at Eglinton, North Bay and Aylmer, Ontario.

Leading Aircraftman Daniel Levy, R.C.A.F., of Toronto, was killed when the twin-engine aircraft in which he was flying crashed into the Ptolemy mountain, ten miles southwest of Coleman, Alberta, on January 19, 1946. He was buried in Toronto. Leading Aircraftman Levy had served as a ground radio technician since his enlistment in 1943. Prior to his enlistment he was a professional musician. A brother, Paul Levy, also served in the R.C.A.F.

Leading Aircraftman Henry Levy of Toronto, Ontario, was killed in an air crash eight miles west of Kingston, Ontario. Leading Aircraftman Levy enlisted in the air force at the outbreak of the war. When he did not receive his call after a short time, he proceeded to Hamilton, where he enlisted in the Royal Highland Light Infantry, but a few months later he was honorably discharged on medical grounds. At that time he received his call from the air force. He trained at Toronto, Eglinton and Kingston. Three weeks after receiving his wings, Leading Aircraftman Levy was on his last training flight out from the Colllins Bay service flying training school when his plane crashed into a field.
