- OBITUARIES: Telegraph Journal, June 22, 1931 Mrs. Morris Syers Perth, Victoria Co., June 21 - Deep sympathy was felt throughout the community when it was learned that Mrs. Morris Syers had passed away suddenly at the Fisher Memorial Hospital, Woodstock, where she was taken Monday morning. Mrs. Syers was in her 39th year and leaves to mourn her husband and three children, Dorothy, Hester and a five-day old infant daughter. The remains will be taken to Saint John for interment.
