- Concerning immigrants' repayment to JDC of their inland transportation incurred as part of their immigration travel. These files are arranged alphabetically by employer. Arrangement within the file also alphabetical, by firm. The records note payroll deductions at source made on Payroll Deduction Forms by the employer to repay the immigrant's transportation cost to the Canadian Overseas Fur Commission. Files also contain Employer's Record Forms, giving vital data about the employee including name, address, arrival date, sex, age, nationality or religion, occupational specialty, family composition and employment record with that firm. The subdivision includes alphabetical personal records listing the fur worker, ship and date of immigration, home address, family composition, employer and transportation payment record.
