He taught in London secondary schools and authored six French and German texts which were used in Ontario schools, as well as some other provinces. In 1953, Dr. Isidore Goldstick won the poetry prize for his translation of "Poems of Yehoash" from the Jewish Book Council of America in New York. He also translated "Inside Kasrilevke" and other Yiddish classics. In London he organized the first B'nai B'rith lodge.
