Interior, an elderly man rests in an institutional-style bed. With note on back: "YOU TOO CAN HELP...One of the things which is retarding this man's convalescense is the continual worry of how he will meet accumilating debts, provide for his famoly and making up for his loss of income while he is in the hospital...the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies is now conducting its $310 campaign in the city..." Also on the note: "FROM W.A. LAWRENCE[,] ROOM 320 TRAMWAYS BUILDING, MONTREAL, QUE."
