- The letter has attached a newspaper article with drawings of Mr. Max Goldstein, Mr. S.W. Jacobs and Mr. Harris Vineburg. Letter and article describe protests against "educational disability" for Jewish citizens. 3 pages. The Baron De Hirsch Institute writes in its first paragraph: "Pursuant to a notice through the public press and arising out of a decision rendered in The Superior Court in the case the City of Montreal, in which it was held that Jews have no rights to education in the Public Schools of this city. A mass meeting of all parties interested in obtaining equal rights in educational matters was held in the Baron de Hirsch Institute on Tuesday evening the 24th of February, 1903.
