- A series of purple vertical lines are found on either end. A yellow strip of fabric (the neck band, known as an atarah) has been sewen to the top edge, embroidered with Hebrew text and detailing. The corners have been reinforced and have holes with knotted string (tzitzit) passed through. Fringe has been knotted on either end, forming a net look. Narrative: Tallis probably acquired in Canada. Donor came in 1914
