- Long case with an alligator skin texture and 2 round clasps on either side keeping the flap closed. A gilded title appears on the top flap (see inscription). The case unfolds on all 4 sides and is lined with purple satin fabric. Narrative: Belonged to donor's grandmother who wore them in 1870 in Germany.
