- B&w photo of a family: mother, father and 2 young girls. The father and mother are sitting on either side, with the older girl standing in the middle and the younger girl sitting on the mother's lap; the background is plain, with curtains behind the mother; the photo is surrounded by a beige window mat. Housed in a frame with moulded oblong rings around the border, and a beveled inner edge; glass glazing. The dust cover is nailed to the frame, with a stand in the centre. Narrative: Krant family in Poland, son is the only one who survived the Holocaust and settled in Montreal after the war.
