- Two pages. Personal letter to Chana (Anna) Zilberbogen (born Wartens) from Roberto and Halina Grundland. On top left is a header of Roberto Grundland. Letter is mostly typewritten with a part that is handwritten in blue ink. They hope she is now going better and are proud that she was able to organize everything even though she is sick. They will send her money. Inform Chana about people in America and Warsaw.They are very pleased about the letters from the children. They inform that the address of the sister in law who has remarried in the meantime is still the same. Letter finishes with greeting. Narrative: Roberto Grundland was the husband of the paternal aunt of Celinka (Cécile) and Elzbieta (Élizabeth) Zilberbogen. Justyna Grundland (born Zilberbogen) was the sister of the Szygmundt (Simon) Zilberbogen the father of Celinka and Elzbieta. Roberto Grundland had a lot of informations concerning the Zilberbogen family (photographs, films). Szygmundt wrote to his address when he was in the ghetto and Chana (Anna) Zilberbogen (born Wartens), mother of the two girls, as well. Roberto Grundland died in 1961 in Milan.
