- Notes
- One page. Personal letter to Chana (Anna) Zilberbogen (born Wartens) from Roberto and Justyna Grundland. On top left is a header of Roberto Grundland. There is also a circular ink stamp in middle that reads “33 / III”. Letter is mostly typewritten with a part that is handwritten in black ink. Ask her to write more frequently because they are worried. Inform her that enclosed is a postcard from Simon Zilberogen (her husband). Hope the children will be fine. Narrative: Roberto Grundland was the husband of the paternal aunt of Celinka (Cécile) and Elzbieta (Élizabeth) Zilberbogen. Justyna Grundland (born Zilberbogen) was the sister of the Szygmundt (Simon) Zilberbogen the father of Celinka and Elzbieta. Roberto Grundland had a lot of informations concerning the Zilberbogen family (photographs, films). Szygmundt wrote to his address when he was in the ghetto and Chana (Anna) Zilberbogen (born Wartens), mother of the two girls, as well. Roberto Grundland died in 1961 in Milan.
