- Notes
- One page. Personal letter to Chana (Anna) Zilberbogen (born Wartens) from Roberto and Justyna Grundland. On top left is a header of Roberto Grundland. There is also a circular ink stamp on top right that reads “172 / III”. Letter is mostly typewritten with a part that is handwritten in black ink. They ask Chana for news because they are worried even though they guess it’s the postal service that is complicated. Inform her that on their side everything is going well. Narrative: Roberto Grundland was the husband of the paternal aunt of Celinka (Cécile) and Elzbieta (Élizabeth) Zilberbogen. Justyna Grundland (born Zilberbogen) was the sister of the Szygmundt (Simon) Zilberbogen the father of Celinka and Elzbieta. Roberto Grundland had a lot of informations concerning the Zilberbogen family (photographs, films). Szygmundt wrote to his address when he was in the ghetto and Chana (Anna) Zilberbogen (born Wartens), mother of the two girls, as well. Roberto Grundland died in 1961 in Milan.
