- Two panel card, b&w portrait of SImcha Kruk on inside, fingerprint beside photograph, 3 circular ink stamps. Simcha Kruk was issued this residence card in 1943 by the Polish Residents Association in China, it was valid until 1944. Narrative: Simcha-Binem Kruk was born on 1912/8/2 in Lipno, Poland. His parents were Abram Jacob and Esther (nee Dvoyra) Kruk. He fled central Europe to live in Shanghai until he was able to receive a Visa to North America. He moved to Canada on 1948/6/30 and was granted status as a landed immigrant on 1948/8/4. He worked as a barber.
