- 1 page, double sided. Folded once horizontally and vertically. Document is a certificate of residence, issued in Vienna on April 5, 1926. Purple stamp with handwritten portions in top right corner regarding passport. Narrative: Otto Bondy was the father of the donor, Walter Absil. He was born in Vienna, Austria on January 1, 1897 and fled to Belgium with his family in 1938. He was deported from the Malines (Melechen) transit camp in Belgium to Auschwitz in September 1943, where he was murdered.
