Bound hardcover book with accompanying mailing envelope and label. Book has red fabric cover, title is embossed at centre in gold. Envelope is beige, has lighter beige mailing label affixed on front. Label is printed in red ink, space for sender, name and rank of soldier, and military mail number. On right is printed that the envelope contains Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler. 'Feldpost Bücher' is printed around an insignia of an eagle standing on a circle with a large E inside it, with the letters F V printed vertically between the horizontal lines of the E. Form is blank. Narrative: This edition of Mein Kampf was issued by the Post Office of the Third Reich in 1940, designed to be sent to loved ones fighting on the front. It was an unabridged edition that combined both volumes of the book into a slim book.
