- 1 page, single-sided. Folded twice horizontally and once vertically. Document is a handwritten note to Chaim Lewin, signed by Volosnykh. Volosnykh sent Lewin 800 marks, and is requesting boots, 3 packs of tobacco, and a shipment of food to be delivered to the commander of the partisan brigade. Narrative: Chaim Lewin was a friend of the donor. They were in the Ainring Displaced Persons Camp together after the war. Chaim survived the Holocaust in the forests of Vilna, Lithuania as a partisan. This correspondence was from his partisan activities.
