1 page, double-sided horizontal paper. Recto t.r. dated "944.111.19", addressed to Gustav Weinberger, in handwriting of Ilona Weinberger, then Mancika Mandula Weinberger. Two words written by Pali Weinberger, signed "Pali". Two lines in handwriting of Sas, signed "Sas". Bottom two lines in handwriting of Kalman Weinberger. Verso continues in Kalman's hand. At right addressed to "Weinberger Gustav / 108/101 msz." in Maroshéviz, Maros-Torda county. Top right, signature of Sargeant Birgany (?). Card contains correspondence between the Weinberger family and Gustav Weinberger, contains family updates and well-wishes. Narrative: Donor is Elaine Kalman Naves, daughter of Gustav and Anikó Weinberger. The letter is in the handwriting of the Weinberger family addressed to Gustav. Kalman (1880-1944), Mancika (1910-1944) -- the first wife of Gustav Weinberger, Pal (1908-1945) and Ilona Weinberger (1881-1944). All but Gustav were killed in Auschwitz in 1944. The correspondence was under supervision of Sargeant Birgany (?). This collection of correspondence was used as part of the research for the following book: Kalman Naves, Elaine.
