1 page, double-sided horizontal paper. Recto, in handwriting of Ilona Weinberger At bottom, handwriting of Pali Weinberger. Verso contains handwriting of Kalman Weinberger and is signed "Apa" and dated "944.IV/10" at bottom. At right, addressed to "Weinberger Gustav / 108/101 mszd." in Maroshéviz, Maros-Torda county. At top right, signature of Captain Soós. Card contains correspondence between the Weinberger family and Gustav Weinberger, contains family updates and well-wishes. Narrative: Donor is Elaine Kalman Naves, daughter of Gustav and Anikó Weinberger. The letter is in the handwriting of the Weinberger family addressed to Gustav. Kalman (1880-1944), Ilona (1881-1944), and Pal Weinberger (1908-1945). All but Gustav were killed in Auschwitz in 1944. The correspondence was under supervision by Captain Soós. This collection of correspondence was used as part of the research for the following book: Kalman Naves, Elaine. Journey to Vaja: Reconstructing the World of a Hungarian-Jewish Family.
