- 1 page, double-sided horizontal paper. Recto, in handwriting of Mancika Mandula Weinberger, signed "Manci" and dated "IV.4". Below, handwriting of Ilona Weinberger that continues on verso. Below is the handwriting of Pali Weinberger, and below that, two lines in the handwriting of Kalman Weinberger, signed "Apa" [trad.: father]. At right in Mancika's handwriting, addressed to "Weinberger Gustav / 108/101 msz." in "Maroshéviz" [which has been crossed out in black ink], in Maros-Torda county and replaced with Borgóprund in black ink at bottom. At top right, signature of Captain Soós. Card contains correspondence between the Weinberger family and Gustav Weinberger, contains family updates and well-wishes. Narrative: Donor is Elaine Kalman Naves, daughter of Gustav and Anikó Weinberger. The letter is in the handwriting of Kalman (1880-1944), Ilona (1881-1944), Pal Weinberger (1908-1945), and Mancika Mandula Weinberger (1910-1944) -- the first wife of Gustav Weinberger. All but Gustav were killed in Auschwitz in 1944. The correspondence was under supervision by Captain Soós. This collection of correspondence was used as part of the research for the following book: Kalman Naves, Elaine. Journey to Vaja: Reconstructing the World of a Hungarian-Jewish Family.
