- Beige pre-printed postcard handwritten in blue ink. One side is inscribed with the address of the receiver (Mrs Olga Schwarz in Zagreb) and 8 paper stamps; two blue stamps in the bottom left and six at the top, two of which hang off the top edge of the postcard. It also has a handwritten message by the receiver at the bottom. The other side contains a short message and a date handwritten in blue ink and a mark made in red crayon on the bottom left hand side. Narrative: This postcard was sent by Ivan V. Schwarz to his sister-in-law and brother while he was interned at the Jasenovac concentration camp. Ivan Schwarz was interned in the camp from August 31, 1941 to April 22, 1945 when the camp was liquidated and all the remaining prisoners, including Ivan, were killed. Ivan Schwarz was born in 1898 and was originally from Koprivnica.
