A young woman with dark hair and a striped dress, Tola Feigenbaum, is facing the camera, standing next to her husband Avrum Feigenbaum who is wearing a light-coloured suit jacket and white shirt. He is looking at her.The couple is posing at the look-out point on Mont-Royal and one can see the city of Montreal behind them. Narrative: Tola and Avrum are both Holocaust survivors. They married in Lodz (Poland) in 1946. Thanks to the Jewish Labour Committee they were able to emigrate and stay for almost one year in Sweden. Later, the JLC arranged for Avrum to enter Canada as a political refugee from Poland. The couple came to Montreal in June 1950 and have lived there all their lives.
