- Sergeant Ralph Frank of Hamilton, Ontario, was reported killed on active service (R.C.A.F. Casualty List No. 541) on March 30, 1943, according to an official announcement. Rabbi S. Gershon Levi, M.B.E., of Montreal, senior Canadian Jewish chaplain, officiated at his funeral. Among those attending the funeral was his friend Warrant Officer Albert Garshowitz, also of Hamilton, who himself lost his life in action two months later.
