- Pilot Officer Jack Lupinsky of Montreal, Quebec, who had been listed missing after air operations on November 2, 1944, was presumed dead for official purposes (R.C.A.F. Casualty List No. 1222) on June 15, 1945. Enlisting in the air force at Montreal in January 1941, Pilot Officer Lupinsky trained at Lachine, at No. 2 Service Flying Training School at Uplands, Ontario, and at the University of Montreal, where he completed his course in aviation. He proceeded overseas in October 1943 and was commissioned one day before he went on his last mission, November 1, 1944. He served with R.C.A.F. Squadron No. 428.
