- OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, April 16, 1984, Page 16 Obituary - Mrs. Harry C. Green Mrs. Dora Charlotte Green of the St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home, widow of Harry C. Green, died at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saturday, after a period of failing health. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Israel and Rose (Kinstein) Corber. She had been a lifelong resident of the city. She was a member of the Congregation Shaarei Zedek and the Sisterhood of Congregation Shaarei Zedek. She was a life member of the Hadassah-Wizo Organization. She was predeceased by one son Louis and three brothers, Jack, Emmanuel and Murray Corber. She is survived by one son, Nathan Green of Saint John, two daughters, (Eleanor), Mrs. Louis Citren of Oakville, Ontario, (Bessie) Mrs. Samuel Cohen of Saint John; one sister, Miss Belle Corber of Saint John West; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The body rested at Castle Funeral Home (Hillsley), 91 Leinster Street, from where the funeral was held today at 12:30 p.m. followed by interment in the Green-Hart Cemetery. Green, was held from the Castle Funeral Home, Hillsley Chapel, 91 leinster Street, with Rabbi Michael Wolfe of Moncton officiating. Members of the Chevra Kadisha served as pallbearers.
