- The children of the Jewish People's and Peretz Schools were busy cleaning, cutting, chopping, and mixing nutritious foods during Nutrition Month. Dressed as their favourite fruits and vegetables some older students visited classes spreading the nutrition message throughs ong and dance. Even the parents became involved researching out nutritious recipes and providing the recipes for snack ideas. Tasting parties allowed the students from kindergarten to grade six to taste for themselves how good sugarless and starchless snacks can be. Posters, brochures and information pertraining to Nutrition Month were collected from various sources and displayed throughout the schools.
Pictured are JPPS students Franceen Bernstein, Karyn Rosenthal, Mitchell Faigan, Roberta Lazarus, Robyn Heller, Dougie Wiseman, Jill Kassner, Julie Wiener, Elaine Zameck, Janet Tarasofky
