1 page, double-sided horizontal paper, folded horizontally. Edges are perforated, similar to a fiscal stamp's edges. Recto contains sender's address at top "Weinberger Miklos" and at centre is addressed to "Weinberger Gustáv / 108/101. msz. / Borgóprund. / Besztercze Naszód m". At top right, illegible signature of controller in red pencil. Verso, handwriting is oriented vertically along the page. Dated at top right "Kisvarda, 1944. V. 26." Signed at bottom right "Miku". Narrative: Donor is Elaine Kalman Naves, daughter of Gustav and Anikó Weinberger. The postcard was sent from Miklos Weinberger to Gustav Weinberger. The correspondence was under supervision of a controller. This collection of correspondence was used as part of the research for the following book: Kalman Naves, Elaine. Journey to Vaja: Reconstructing the World of a Hungarian-Jewish Family. Montreal: McGill-Queen's University Press, 1996. Print.
