1 page, double-sided vertical paper, folded twice horizontally and once vertically. Recto t.l. letterhead in Hungarian and German printed script reads "Reiner és Mandula" with address and telephone number. Top right dated "1944.111.19". Addressed to "Gusztikam" in handwriting of Mancika Mandula Weinberger. Verso continues in Mancika's hand, signed "Manci". Below, several lines of Kalman Weinberger handwriting. Envelope recto letterhead reads "REINTER és MARIA MISKOLCZ". Addressed to "Weinberger Gustav 108/101 msz." in Maroshéviz, Maros-Torda county. Verso, five blue 6 forint fiscal stamps. Return address written at top. Card contains correspondence between the Weinberger family and Gustav Weinberger, contains family updates and well-wishes. Narrative: Donor is Elaine Kalman Naves, daughter of Gustav and Anikó Weinberger. The letter is in the handwriting of Mancika Mandula Weinberger (1910-1944) -- the first wife of Gustav Weinberger -- and Kalman Weinberger (1880-1944), addressed to Gustav. All but Gustav were killed in Auschwitz in 1944. This collection of correspondence was used as part of the research for the following book: Kalman Naves, Elaine.
