1 page, double-sided horizontal paper. Recto and verso contains handwriting of Erzsi Békés. Below handwriting of K. Békes and Ági Békés. Dated at bottom left "944 IV.7". At right, addressed to "Weinberger Gustav / 108/101 msz." in "Maroshéviz" [which has been crossed out in black ink]. At top right, signature of Captain Soós. Card contains correspondence between the Békés family and Gustav Weinberger. Narrative: Donor is Elaine Kalman Naves, daughter of Gustav and Anikó Weinberger. The letter is in the handwriting of the Békés family addressed to Gustav Weinberger. The correspondence was under supervision by Captain Soós. This collection of correspondence was used as part of the research for the following book: Kalman Naves, Elaine. Journey to Vaja: Reconstructing the World of a Hungarian-Jewish Family. Montreal: McGill-Queen's University Press, 1996. Print.
