- OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, June 24, 1967, Page 22 MARCUS – At the Saint John General Hospital on June 23, 1967, Jacob A. (Jack) Marcus, son of the late Joseph and Ethel Marcus, survived by two daughters, one brother, one sister, and several nieces and nephews. Body will rest from Sunday at noon at the vestry of Shaarei Zedek Synagogue, from where the funeral will be held Sunday afternoon with service at 3 o’clock. Interment in the Shaarei Zedek Cemetery. (In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart Foundation would be appreciated.) Gravestone reference code(s): JM 998.61.365 / JM 997.122.38. Memorial plaque in synagogue: Kashetsky-Michelson - F2.
