OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, March 3, 1952, Page 16 The death of Mrs. Hessia Garson, widow of Frank Garson, occurred at her residence, 210 Germain Street on Saturday. Mrs. Garson was born in Russia, a daughter of the late Zalman and Minnie Fine, and had been a resident of Saint John for the past 25 years. She had been ill for the past nine months. Mrs. Garson was active in the Hebrew Community in Saint John and was a member of the Shaarei Zedek. She was as well a member of the Henrietta Szold Chapter of Hadassah. Surviving are one son, Lewis Selby, Saint John, one brother, Samuel Fine; four sisters, Mrs. Edward Gilden, Mrs. Harry Bender, Mrs. Rose Epstein, and Mrs. Harry Litschitz, all of Chicago, as well as five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The body is resting at Chamberlain’s Funeral Home, 145 King Street East from where the funeral will be held this afternoon with services at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery.
