- Ben Gurion, seated at the middle of the table came to meet the delegates of the growing Histadrut party. Shirley Berman (seated, second from left beside Mrs. Paula Ben Gurion) along with Shier Berman, Hugo Levendel and Professor Ben Lapppin of the University of Toronto were the only Labour Zionists who participated in the tour; the rest were representatives of Labour Unions. Hugo Levendel is at very back of group on left side. Shier Berman is behind Shirley Berman and to the left.
