- Circular shape, embroidered with fabric flowers, cross-stitched with floss. Border is fringed. Narrative: Handcrafted from Czernowitz (today Chernivtsi), Bukovina. Name of the donor' great-great grandmother, Cohen, is embroidered on the bottom flap. The matzah cover has been handed down through generations. The mother of the donor, Suzie Rosenblatt (nee Mier) kept it hidden in the Bershad concentration camp in Transnistria (Ukraine). The donor's brother, Jacob Wardi, was also in Bershad. Donor Regina Stiglitz (Rosenblatt) was in a different work camp called Muraffa. The family was reunited after the war and emigrated to Canada in 1962.

At Saint John General Hospital, Oct. 14, 1963, Mrs. Rose Featherman, wife of Albert Featherman of 176 King Street East, survived by her husband, one son, one daughter, three brothers, several nieces and nephews.
The body is resting at the vestry of Shaarei Zedek Synagogue, from where the funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon with service at 2:30 p.m. Interment in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Fund would be greatly appreciated.
