OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, April 16, 1938, SB Series 93 No. 1, page 90 Mrs. D. Kunitzky Passes At Home A wide circle of friends will regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Mary Kunitzky, wife of David Kunitzky, which occurred at her residence, 109 Germain Street, early Friday morning after several weeks illness. She was in her 51st year. Her passing will be felt keenly by the local Jewish community of which she was a member of the Senior Hadassah Chapter of Saint John, the Daughters of Israel and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Congregation Shaarei Zedek. A native of Russia, Mrs. Kunitzky came to this country in her youth. She leaves her husband, two daughters, Mrs. B. Jacobson of this city, and Miss Frances, at home; one son, Joseph, at home; two sisters, Mrs. M. Budov and Mrs. C. Finder of New York, and one brother, Daniel Karlitsky, New York. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock from her late residence and was largely attended. Rev. A. Babb and Rev. M. Beshkin officiated. Interment was in Hebrew Plot in Fernhill Cemetery.
