- History / Biographical
- Morris Oberman (1900-1987) fought in the Jewish Legion in Palestine. He was later honoured by Israel for his role in helping it attain its independence. Judith (1902-2000), née Braslavsky, was active in Pioneer Women. Both were leaders in the Montreal Labour Zionist Movement. Judith's brothers were well-known scholars: Moshe Braslavsky was a historian, while Yosef was a geographer of the land of Israel.
