The print makes reference to Warsaw Ghetto Uprising of April and May, 1943. Narrative: All 16 of the prints in this series depict life of Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto during the Holocaust. Printmaker, book illustrator and painter, Stefan Mrozewski was born in Czéstochowa, Poland.
