- Father Stéphane Valiquette was born in Montreal, in 1912. He was a leading pioneer in Christian-Jewish dialogue and the fight against antisemitism in Quebec; he was the first executive director of Quebec office of Canadian Council of Christians and Jews; co-founder of the Judeo-Christian Dialogue in Montreal; former co-director of the Canadian Center for Ecumenism.
