- 1 page, double-sided horizontal paper. Recto, dated at top right: "Nyirl?v?.1944 május 8". Four lines of typed text. Signature in blue at bottom right. Verso left, printed letterhead that reads: "Gábor Bátky De Fels?bátka's farm and agricultural distillery, Nyirl?v?" (trad.).
Right side addressed to "Weinberger Gustáv / Borgógrund. [sic] / 108/101 kmsz. / Besztercze Naszod megye". At top right, one grey 18 forint fiscal stamp. At top right, illegible signature of controller in red colour pencil. Narrative: Donor is Elaine Kalman Naves, daughter of Gustav and Anikó Weinberger. The card is sent from Gabor Batky to Gustav Weinberger. The correspondence was under supervision by a controller. This collection of correspondence was used as part of the research for the following book: Kalman Naves, Elaine. Journey to Vaja: Reconstructing the World of a Hungarian-Jewish Family.
