- Album of water-colour paintings relating to Julius Pfeiffer's interment at Ile aux Noix in 1939; 15 small painted scenes of camp life. The identity of the artist is not known. The album includes an newspaper clipping (loose) showing an aerial view of the internment camp on the Isle of Man. Three National Jewish Youth Conference folders for student meetings in 1962 and 1964, dating from Sydney Pfeiffer's participation as a representative of Pirchei Agudath Israel. The booklets include lists of the groups which participated, agendas for the events, and ephemera. Typed memoir written by Sydney Pfeiffer's mother for her relatives and later annotated by him, detailing how the family survived during World War II (43 pages, printed from an electronic document).

- History / Biographical
- Julius Pfeiffer was sent from England and interned in Ile-aux-Noix in 1939. His wife and first two sons followed him to Canada when the war ended. Son Sydney Pfeiffer was later born in Montreal. This collection relates to material about the internment experience received from Julius Pfeiffer in 1991 (P91/04) Sydney Pfeiffer (M. Comm., LL.B., CPA, CA) was an Outremont city councilor, and there is a file of newsclippings about him in the CJC Documentaiton collection series ZB.
