- b&w, outdoors. A large group of men and women are waling in the street, holding banners. In the foreground a banner reads "(H)omage to the Dead, (Wa)rning to the Living, (Associat)ion of Survivors of Nazi Oppression", another banner at the back reads "(Ren)dre hommage aux morts, (Met)tre en garde les vivants" while a smaller sign held is enscribed with the name "Bergen-Belsen". The procession was taking place at Dominion Square downtown Montreal. Narrative: The Association of Survivors of Nazi Oppression was founded circa 1960 in Montreal. It was an active organization founded in order to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust. The Association was instrumental in the creation of the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre (1976).
