- 1 page, double-sided horizontal paper. Recto and verso in handwriting of Kalman Weinberger. Dated at top right corner of recto, "1944.IV/25". Signed "Apa" on verso. At right, addressed to "Weinberger Gustav / 108/101 msz. / Bihar / Biharmegye". At top right, illegible signature of controller in red colour pencil. Narrative: Donor is Elaine Kalman Naves, daughter of Gustav and Anikó Weinberger. Correspondance between Kalman Weinberger and Gustav Weinberger confirming that they arrived safely in Kisvárda. The card is in the handwriting of Kalman Weinberger (1880-1944) to Gustav Weinberger. The correspondence was under supervision by a controller. This collection of correspondence was used as part of the research for the following book: Kalman Naves, Elaine. Journey to Vaja: Reconstructing the World of a Hungarian-Jewish Family. Montreal: McGill-Queen's University Press, 1996. Print.
