- Flying Officer Bernard Zimring of Kenora, Ontario, was reported missing and believed killed on November 4, 1944. Flying Officer Zimring enlisted in the air force in February 1943, trained at Lachine, Toronto, Mountain View, Chatham and Calgary, where he received his commission as a navigator bombardier in March 1944. He proceeded overseas in June of the same year.
