- 991 pages. Hardcover, cardboard bound. Cover is textured black; no text is found on the cover, but along the spine, at the bottom is 2 horizontal lines with numbers written under. Page edges are spotted with black dots. Inside covers and flyleaf are dark grey. Interior pages are beige with text and small b&w sketches throughout. The 1st page has a portrait illustration of a man with a signature underneath - it is hard to tell if the signature is a copy or handwritten. A layer of tissue comes between the portrait and the title page. Narrative: Hans Zöberlein (author and architect) was the leader of the commando “werwolf”. On April 28, 1945 in Penzberg, Bavaria 16 people were killed in a civil massacre by this group of civilians loyal to Hitler.
