- B&W, indoors. 13 young adults pose in 2 rows. Those in first row are seated, second row stand behind. One man in front row holds a large framed portrait of a seated man in front of him. On verso, ink stamp in Hebrew and Yiddish refers to the Young Zionists' School. Document is a postcard. Narrative: The donors parents were Meilach Magid and Yocheved Bejlach, both teachers. They came to Canada in 1921, returned to Poland, and then settled in Canada in 1924. Meilach graduated from McGill in 1929. He was the principal of United Talmud Torah School and later founded Herzliah High School in 1946.
