Document is a typed letter from the mayor of Bayreuth, Germany to Dr. Linhart, the regional economic advisor for the NSDAP, requesting his opinion on 'the right of disposal of a Jewish fortune'. Letter outlines a case of Aryanization in which a local department store with a Jewish owner was transferred into 'Aryan' hands. Handwritten annotations at bottom left. Signed 'Heil Hitler!'
